  To Lurkers- Give Me 1 Good Reason Society Didn't Admit to Child Abuse Cases

  for those of you who are lurkers or others.

  please tell me if the watchtower society has personally or in your congregation meetings has admitted to settling with 16 child abuse victims out of court.

  Did you notice any change in lifestyle of JW's throughout the years ??

  when i joined in the late 80's most witnesses didn't own a house, today, more than half does.

  .

  when i joined, sisters pioneered because they didn't work, today most sisters work and don't pioneer.. jw families had 1 car per family, today most jw couples each have a car.. .

  when you used to go in the field service, did you go out to have 2 more hours on your report, or did you really want to save somebody's life by preaching a message of salvation ?

  Special Needs talk at our Hall tonite...

  talk was about appreciating jehovah's provisions, something like that.... the po gave the talk.

  apparently, after the last co visit, our congo got a letter from headquarters, informing us that our numbers are wayyyy down.

  several inactive publishers, several more irregular, poor meeting attendance, and our hourly average is less than the national average (8.3 compared to 9.9).
